Youth Fund Grants - APPLY NOW

A couple of years ago, our Youth Fund Grants helped to support a new greenhouse at the High School in Stockton. Today, seedlings like these are starting to grow in that greenhouse.

This is a great metaphor for our Youth Fund grant program. We're planting seeds and nourishing new ideas that help the young people in our community thrive and grow!

We are excited to announce that the Community Foundation of Jo Daviess County will make $10,000 available this Spring from the Jo Daviess County Youth Fund. We are looking for new ideas that create a positive impact on young people in Jo Daviess County.

The Jo Daviess County Youth Fund has provided more than $40,000 in grants. "This year we are looking for proposals that create new experiences, new summer learning programs, or new ways to engage young people. We especially support ideas that are created with young people at the decision-making table, said Eric Dregne, Community Foundation President. “We are grateful for the generous support of donors from across the County who have helped build the fund. Let’s keep it growing!”

The fund focuses on ensuring children and youth are healthy, ready to learn, succeeding in school, and empowered to contribute to the growth and vitality of our communities in Jo Daviess County. The total amount available is $10,000. The Youth Fund may provide multiple grants in amounts of less than $10,000 based on the size and types of requests received.

Organizations interested in applying for a grant should visit the Community Foundation of Jo Daviess County website at www.cfjodaviess.org. Grant guidelines and the grant application are available on the Community Foundation website.

Applications are accepted between March 15 and April 30, 2025.

Grant recipients will be notified by May 31, 2025.
