BUILD STRONGER COMMUNITIES
The Greater Elizabeth Community Fund was started by members of the Elizabeth community who pooled $10,000 to start the fund. These community members saw the value of ensuring the community has the resources it needs to support critical opportunities now and in the future. The Greater Elizabeth Community Fund will support the charitable work of nonprofit organizations that build or expand opportunities for citizens in three key areas of focus:
THE $250,000 CHALLENGE
To leverage a $25,000 match from the Community Foundation of Jo Daviess County we must raise $250,000 to establish a sustainable community fund for Greater Elizabeth.
The Greater Elizabeth Community Fund is a fund of the
Community Foundation of Jo Daviess County and guided by a local advisory board that makes funding decisions. The Community Foundation partners with the advisory board to provide investment experience, administrative support, and planned giving knowledge to ensure wise management of the fund.

Join us in building the Greater Elizabeth Community Fund. There are many ways to contribute, and gifts can be made over multiple years to maximize your impact. Contributions may be eligible for the IL GIVES 25% State Tax Credit. Donors will be recognized when the challenge grant is met and the campaign concludes.
