The Jo Daviess County Community Foundation announced the launch of a new fund to support future needs in the County at the Foundation’s annual fall event. The fund will support future needs in Jo Daviess County in areas of need such as family economic security, education, and community development. Each year the fund may provide grants to Jo Daviess County nonprofits and charitable causes that serve Jo Daviess County communities.

The Jo Daviess County Future Fund was announced at the Foundation’s annual event following a presentation by Bridgette Stocks of Fehr-Graham Engineering & Environmental called Our County By the Numbers.

The presentation shared needs and challenges impacting Jo Daviess County through a presentation utilizing demographic and socio-economic data in a cooperative way to illustrate the specific needs of our County.

“Starting the Future Fund is one way we can work together as a community to begin to address long-term challenges in the community” said Stocks. “And the best part is anyone can give in any amount.”

Gifts to the Jo Daviess County Future Fund are being accepted by the Community Foundation via mail or online at www.cfjodaviess.org.
